Nagaokakyo City Alliance for Creating the Green City is a citizen group working on environmental conservation in Nagaokakyo city, Kyoto, Japan. We started on January 20, 2002, following the establishment of the Nagaokakyo City Basic Environmental Plan in March 2001. Since then, we have engaged in various environmental preservation activities, with support of many citizens, counterparts and supporters, hoping that Nagaokakyo City will be called the Green City.
